Cabin Crew Diary : Revealing the Hidden Side of the Airplane

I recently met a flight attendant on a plane and chatted with her about the current state of the industry.

She told me that although the job of a flight attendant looks glamorous, it is actually a lot of hard work and difficult. First of all, the income in this industry is not as high as everyone thinks. 

Although the basic salary may be good, the hourly rate and overnight rate are not too high. Moreover, the work of flight attendants is very hard, requiring them to stand for long periods of time, serve passengers, and face various emergencies.

In addition, the stewardess industry has very high requirements for appearance and temperament. In order to maintain their image, they need to spend a lot of time and money on makeup and grooming. 

This means that most of their wages are spent on cosmetics and clothing, making it difficult to save much money.

She also told me that many flight attendants now choose to switch careers to other industries, such as live broadcasting, micro-business, etc. Because these industries have relatively higher incomes and do not have many restrictions and requirements.

After listening to her story, I deeply felt the hard work and difficulty of this industry. Although the job of a flight attendant seems very glamorous, it actually comes with many difficulties and challenges. 

I hope more people can understand and respect the workers in this industry.
